I`ve purchased from Backcountry Gear on two different events (roughly a year apart). On occasions, in about a month later buying from these, my credit card has been used for fraudulent purchases. I needed to find a new card issued times. I stopped ordering from Backcountry Gear and haven`t had an issue since. I really don`t use my credit card for daily purchases (mostly online). I continue to purchase from Moosejaw, Backcountry, and Amazon and haven`t had any issues.

Someone in Backcountry Gear wasn`t trustworthy.

Placed an order together by telephone because their online site was not carrying my card attempted multiple.

Minding I had been attempting to put This sequence .

First thing Monday I put the order by telephone (in the time they did not tell me among my things was not accessible )

Tuesday comes around I do not get a tracking number I receive an email at (7:50pm saying one of my things was not available, and I will my things will be sent when that thing comes from 14 days from today ) what??? 14 days that is mad half a month.

It is 8 pm there is no way for me to phone and let them forget that jumble and send my other things in stock immediately (I paid extra for fast delivery.)

I predict the next day that they stated 7am is there starting time no one replies until 8:30`m meaning I invested a hour 30 mins calling.

ANDY THE MAIN BOSS OF EVERYTHING, client support is your primary concern and being handled just like (hello friend I do not care) is not a wonderful feeling.

Wednesday now my things are being sent now and I had for Friday the cutting board requires overnight therapy prior to use.

I am seriously Irritated this is the way this was managed. Really felt like a move F$&yourself kind of help that I received.

Horrible experience- misleading. I purchased a sleeping bag to get more than 500. They would not send it until I informed them of a minimum charge they submitted to my own credit card. I confirmed it had been 1.25. This was awful. I really don`t have time for this particular match. However, the part that got me quite disgusted with this provider is as soon as the rep said that they do so to protect me from dropping my cash!! It is a charge card. I don`t have any probability of loss. The rep contended with me and I am a banker, so I sort of know my danger. There`s none – that they have the danger. I made my order. I really don`t deal with companies which lie.

SCAM
It was to get a 7 ounce. umbrella.
That is a email I sent that this provider.
Your organization didn`t delivery the item in time.
I wanted it by Friday at the latest since I was departing Sat. Dawn to push north and increase for a week.
That I did.
I might have compensated for first course, approximately $5.00, that was more economical and even that support could have been sent by Friday.

However, I picked your priority email service that was likely to be sent by Tuesday at the latest.
This advice is from the website.
I simply can not think you`d attempt to stiff me for $12.00 to get something which is your fault.
You get back your merchandise and earn $3.00-$4.00 about the transport.
Kind of a scam do not you believe?

You calling me about 5:30 on Friday and telling me I can get in my car and drive 10 miles to regain this umbrella was mad.
I am in the midst of cooking 8 beans to get a dinner and you need me to skip dinner and drive 30 minutes to receive a bundle that was suppose to be delivered on Tuesday.
I paid $12 for shipping and you need me to invest yet another $2.50 in gasoline

That is so wrong.

Following this refund I`ll have some bad or good things to say about your business.
I`ve thru-hiked that the AT 4 occasions.
Also sectioned it another two times.
I`m out there and I will talk down or up your own company.
Is that actually worth $12 that`s the company`s fault for not providing a item in time.
They email me back without any goals about refunding the shipping price.

Warren was quite knowledgeable and helpful. He knows equipment and intense conditions because he has used the equipment at etreme locations. Oh my goodness Warren from client support is amazing!!! I had an issue with an arrangement that USPS dropped and that I called Backcountry equipment after getting no where with the US Postal Service and Amazon. Even though the whole fault falls upon USPS, Warren stepped up and got the work done. I greatly appreciate the superb customer support that he delivered!

Not only amazingly friendly and helpful on the telephone, but sent me follow up mails about his recommendations about the equipment we had been talking about! I have never had a purchasing experience as private as this and this won`t be my final Backcountry Gear shopping buy. They have a lifetime client by using their customer services.

I`d love to have a second to highly praise Warren, Client Support. He was polite and educated. He was professional and helped me locate the product I wanted for my granddaughter. I just can`t say enough about Warren since it isn`t every day that we`re able to get the client service he provides!

Fantastic customer services. My item was sent immediately. When USPS maintained there was an inadequate address on the package and they were planning to ship it back to Backcountry (later it had traveled nearly the whole space to me personally ), Warren Michels personally assisted me. He achieved to USPS and also got the problem resolved. USPS delivered my bundle. And needless to say, there was an entire address tag on it that wasn`t damaged in any way.
