Although they were a decent financing company, their underwriting was too complex and they weren`t very easy to work alongside on Asset Titling with DMV. We had to jump through hoops and spend a lot of time following LEAF`s internal guidelines for processing asset registrations/titles. LEAF demanded that the paperwork be sent directly to the DMV. This forced us to show up blindly at the DMV desk with no paperwork. It turned out that LEAF mislabeled an envelope, and found it by accident 4 hours later. To complete the titling and registration ….., our Director of Operations spent 6 hours at DMV. This was the third attempt to do the same end of the day. It would have taken over an hour to register/title the assets on the very first try if LEAF had originally offered to mail the paperwork directly to us (which they refused). We would not hesitate to finance through them again, based on their strict guidelines for registering new assets.

Although I hadn`t heard of LEAF, they contacted me at the time that I was purchasing equipment. They surprised me by the product that I was able to offer. It would be a good idea to give them another chance the next time that you require financing.

A problem with missing paperwork caused us to owe $15K in premiums we couldn`t afford. LEAF was contacted and approved us within days. I will definitely use LEAF again, for both an emergency and for the next equipment purchase.
